You have to try JoAnn's in South San Francisco. It's always packed, but for good reason. It's definitely worth the wait.

The best place is Joanie's on California Avenue in Palo Alto. Their fresh squeezed OJ is the delicious, and they have awesome muffins and fantastic specials. It's best to call ahead and make a reservation if you can, because there's always a ton of people waiting to get in and have some breakfast on the weekends (that's how good the food is!)

*Pondering* Well currently the highest rated (9.6) by citysearch.com in San Francisco for breakfast is Pork Store Cafe
1451 Haight St
San Francisco, CA 94117
(415) 864-6981
Cross Street: Ashbury and Masonic streets
As Haight and Ashbury are worth seeing I myself would check it out sometime next time I'm up there.

an amazing place is nini's in san mateo. it's on idaho street, and is the quaintest little place ever. it's been there forever and has great food. really crowded on weekend mornings, though, because it's really popular among locals
