I frequent the restaurants in Jack London Square.

My favorite is Yoshi's, if you like sushi. I also like to dine at Kincaids for some fresh seafood, excellent crab and artichoke dip and delicious Creme Brulee.

i go to kamakura japanese restaurant in alameda. it is a small, homey atmosphere inside. the dishes reflect traditional country style cooking. the food is exceptional-like donburi,sushi,udon and grilled saba huge sized fishy! my fave is the ten-don the sauce is balanced just right with the deep fried ebi and vegs. prices are moderate during lunchtime, it may fill up to the rafters by noon time, although voice volume can get as high as grand central station.
