On the weekend a group of us went to Espetus Churrascaria (corner of Market and Gough Streets, in downtown San Francisco). It's an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse. There's a buffet of salad and side dishes... the paella was amazing. Then the waiters would come around with the meat on skewers and slice the meat on to your plate. There is a wide selection of meat, lamb, pork, chicken, sausages... I'm particularly impressed with the garlic top sirloin and the rib eye... very juicy and succulent. Definitely worth checking out.

While Espetus Churrascaria is decent, it is a little kitschy. I much prefer Mangarosa, in North Beach. They have excellent steak ‘rechaud’, served on iron platters. The mojitos are great and the place can be jumping on weekends.
